ELECTRICAL ENGINEER @ THE ZANZIBAR COLLECTION
The Zanzibar Collection is seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our Hotel Operations team. In this role, you will be instrumental in overseeing the operation, maintenance, and reliability of all electrical systems across our hotel properties. You will work closely with the maintenance manager to ensure that our power infrastructure remains fully operational, safe, and efficient, supporting the high standards expected at our world-class resorts.
Your daily responsibilities will include managing critical electrical infrastructure such as high-voltage and low-voltage distribution, backup diesel generators, and our dedicated photovoltaic solar power plant. You will be tasked with executing both preventive and corrective maintenance schedules, diagnosing complex faults, and ensuring that all installations comply with strict safety regulations. We are looking for a proactive professional who can manage contractors and contribute to long-term system reliability through technical expertise and detailed record-keeping.

Key Requirements
Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering
Proven experience in hotel, resort, industrial, or commercial facilities maintenance
Strong knowledge of generators and high-voltage systems
Experience with transformers and voltage stabilizers
Expertise in photovoltaic (solar) systems and electrical distribution
Ability to read and interpret complex electrical drawings
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for electrical systems
Excellent organizational and communication abilities
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Commitment to workplace safety standards and industry regulations
