The Zanzibar Collection is currently seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Receptionists at our prestigious properties, including Baraza Resort & Spa and Zawadi Hotel Limited. This role is pivotal in providing a warm welcome to guests and ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out process. As the first point of contact, you will represent the excellence of our hospitality standards in one of the most beautiful locations in the world.
Candidates will be responsible for managing reservations, answering inquiries, and coordinating with other departments to enhance the guest experience. The position requires a high level of organization and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced luxury environment. Key Requirements
Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in Hospitality Management or a relevant field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within a luxury resort environment.
Proficiency in Front Office software and property management systems.
Excellent communication skills in English and Kiswahili.
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
Ability to handle guest complaints and provide effective solutions.
Professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
Proficiency in handling cash and processing card payments.
Knowledge of local tourist attractions and services in Zanzibar.
Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
