PAYROLL & TOTAL REWARDS SPECIALIST @ THE TALENT CONNET
This is a full-time role for a Payroll & Total Rewards Specialist based in Lagos, Nigeria, with a hybrid work arrangement. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the payroll process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all tax and statutory regulations. You will manage total rewards programs, including benefits administration and salary benchmarking, to ensure the company remains competitive in the talent market. Key responsibilities include maintaining detailed payroll records, resolving discrepancies, and collaborating with the HR and finance teams to streamline reporting processes. The role requires a high level of integrity and attention to detail, as you will be handling sensitive employee data and financial information. Ideal candidates will possess strong analytical skills and proficiency in advanced Excel functions to support data-driven decision-making within the human resources department.
Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Economics, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years in payroll and HR related functions.
Strong knowledge of payroll, taxation, and statutory compliance.
High proficiency in Excel and strong analytical ability.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and integrity.
Professional certification in HR or Accounting (e.g., ICAN, CIPM) is an added advantage.
Proficiency in using modern Payroll and HRIS software.
In-depth understanding of Nigerian labor laws and tax regulations.
Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial data.
