MUSIC TEACHER @ THE SCHOOL OF ST JUDE
The School of St Jude is seeking a qualified and passionate Music Teacher to join its academic team at the St Jude’s Girls Secondary school in Arusha, Tanzania. This role involves inspiring students through high-quality music education, leading practical music lessons, and organizing musical performances that showcase the talent of students from disadvantaged backgrounds.
The successful candidate will work within one of Africa’s largest charitable education institutions, contributing to the school's mission of providing free, quality education. The role requires a professional educator who is comfortable using technology in the classroom, managing lesson plans, and mentoring students to achieve their full musical potential while maintaining the ethical standards of the school.

Key Requirements
Tanzanian citizenship
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Music, Arts and Design, Theater, or Traditional Music
Graduation from an accredited higher learning institution within East Africa
At least 3 years of teaching experience in a secondary school or music education institution
Strong academic performance background
Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
Familiarity with the NECTA curriculum
Demonstrated professionalism, integrity, and ethical conduct
Flexibility and willingness to work weekends when required
Strong passion for student development and musical pedagogy
