PLUMBER @ THE RESIDENCE ZANZIBAR
The Residence Zanzibar is seeking a skilled and experienced Plumber to support the resort’s maintenance operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems, fixtures, and equipment while ensuring the efficient operation of the resort’s water systems and Sewage Treatment Plant (STP). You will play a vital role in our engineering and maintenance team, ensuring that all plumbing installations comply with high-quality standards and environmental regulations. Your responsibilities include conducting routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and responding to corrective maintenance requests to ensure that all water and sewage infrastructure functions optimally. We are looking for a candidate who is dedicated to maintaining the resort's facilities and is familiar with the complexities of sewage treatment systems. The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical proficiency, a focus on workplace safety, and a proactive approach to equipment maintenance.
Key Requirements
Minimum 2 years of experience in plumbing maintenance.
Experience in Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) operations.
Certificate or Diploma in Plumbing, Water Treatment, or Environmental Engineering.
Ability to install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems and fixtures.
Proficiency in basic fault diagnosis and plumbing repairs.
Understanding of workplace safety procedures and environmental regulations.
Ability to maintain operational records and report system performance.
Proven history of reliable and independent maintenance work.
Capacity to work effectively within an engineering team.
Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various resort locations.
