AGRICULTURE | NUTRITION COORDINATOR @ THE FOUNDATION FOR COMMUNITY TRANSFORMATION IN KILIMANJARO (FTK)
The Foundation for Community Transformation in Kilimanjaro (FTK) is a community-focused organization based in Moshi, Tanzania, working to improve livelihoods through practical, sustainable solutions especially in rural communities. The organization is currently seeking a committed and motivated individual to support and empower farmers in Lower Moshi by promoting modern farming techniques and sustainable practices.
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and implementing agriculture and nutrition programs, working closely with farmers to improve their agricultural practices. Key activities include monitoring field activities, providing practical solutions to farming challenges, developing demonstration farms, and supporting training initiatives while collaborating with village leaders and agricultural officers.

Key Requirements
A Diploma in Agriculture or Nutrition from a recognized institution.
Proficiency in computer skills for data management and reporting.
At least 2 years of practical experience working with smallholder farmers.
In-depth knowledge of irrigation systems and crop production specific to Tanzania.
Fluency in both Swahili and English for effective community engagement.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to manage diverse stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team environment.
Experience in monitoring field activities and providing on-site practical solutions.
Ability to develop and manage demonstration farms to support training initiatives.
Proven skills in preparing and submitting regular progress reports to management.
