ACCOUNTANT @ THE ESPRESSO LAB
The Espresso Lab is currently seeking a meticulous and professional Accountant to join their team in Dubai. This full-time role is central to the company's financial operations, requiring a candidate who can handle a wide range of responsibilities from preparing financial statements to managing budgets and forecasts. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and consistency of accounting data, supporting the financial health of the organization through careful oversight of the general ledger and reconciliation processes.
In addition to daily accounting tasks, the role involves maintaining strict compliance with UAE tax laws, particularly VAT filings and local financial regulations. The Accountant will support internal audits, lead process improvement initiatives within the finance department, and assist with inventory accounting and cost control for retail and F&B operations. This position requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including retail, operations, and human resources, to ensure seamless business operations and financial integrity.

Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CPA, ACCA, or CMA certification is highly preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of professional accounting experience.
Strong understanding of UAE VAT laws and local financial regulations.
Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks or ERP systems.
Advanced Excel skills for complex data analysis and financial reporting.
Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
High attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
Ability to manage accounts payable/receivable and general ledger reconciliations.
Experience in inventory accounting and cost control specifically for retail or F&B operations.
