ACCOUNTANT @ THE CHARITY HOTEL INTERNATIONAL
The Charity Hotel International is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team in Arusha, Tanzania. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all financial transactions, from fixed-asset accounting to bank reconciliations and payroll preparation. You will play a crucial part in maintaining the financial integrity of our hospitality operations, ensuring that all records are accurate and compliant with both company policies and local tax regulations. The candidate will work closely with management to provide insights into cost control and budget performance.
Key Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in accounting.
Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Strong skills in Microsoft Excel.
Experience using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Tally, Zoho Books, or similar.
Ability to prepare accurate reconciliations, reports, and financial records.
High level of honesty, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Experience in the hotel or hospitality industry will be an added advantage.
