CAREER GUIDANCE COUNSELLOR @ THE AJ GROUP
THE AJ GROUP is looking for a Career Guidance Counsellor to support our secondary students as they navigate their post-secondary options. This non-teaching academic role is critical for helping students identify their strengths and choose appropriate career paths and university programs. You will serve as a bridge between high school education and higher education or professional life.
Your duties will include conducting workshops, managing university applications, and providing one-on-one counseling sessions. You will work closely with students, parents, and international universities to ensure students are well-informed about global education trends and admission requirements. This position requires a professional with a deep understanding of career development and the ability to inspire young minds.

Key Requirements
A certified professional degree in Psychology, Counselling, or Education.
Specialized training or certification in Career Guidance and Counselling.
Experience in advising students on university and college admissions.
Familiarity with various international curricula, including IGCSE and A-Levels.
Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with teenagers and young adults.
Ability to organize and facilitate career fairs and university visits.
Preference for candidates with experience in the UAE education sector.
Excellent communication skills for delivering presentations to parents.
Proficiency in administrative tasks related to student applications.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and ethical standards in counselling.
