ADVOCACY AND COMMUNICATION OFFICER (1 POSITION) @ THAMINI UHAI
Based in Geita, the Advocacy and Communication Officer will lead Social and Behavior Change (SBC) initiatives and regional communication strategies. The role involves developing creative materials, managing digital presence, and ensuring the visibility of the program’s impact within the community and among local government stakeholders.
The officer will work closely with the Advocacy & Communications Manager to ensure donor compliance and accurate reporting. By facilitating effective stakeholder communication and engaging with local media, the officer will play a key role in advocating for improved health outcomes and promoting the organization's regional health activities through various platforms.

Key Requirements
Bachelor’s in Communications, Journalism, Public Health, or related field.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in development/health communication.
Experience with donor-funded programs and government systems.
Expertise in Social and Behavior Change (SBC) strategies.
Proficiency in developing communication materials and reports.
Experience managing digital platforms and social media.
Skills in enhancing program visibility and public relations.
Ability to support stakeholder communication and engagement.
Knowledge of donor compliance and reporting requirements.
Strong writing and content creation skills for diverse audiences.
