TELUS Digital is seeking a Technical Sales Consultant to join its growing team in a role that blends technical expertise with customer-facing sales engagement. This position is a sales engineering role, where you will partner closely with sales, internal operations, and delivery teams to design and deliver customer-centric solutions for business clients across Canada. You will be responsible for managing end-to-end solution development, handling day-to-day customer requests such as Moves, Adds, and Changes (MACs), and working on solutions of low to medium complexity. Candidates will translate business requirements into effective technical and financial solutions that drive positive outcomes.
The role focuses on key solution areas such as Connectivity (Business Internet, GPON), Unified Communications (Business Connect, MS Teams), SDWAN, and Cyber Security (MDR, Penetration Testing). Candidates should have 3 to 5 years of experience and a strong technical background in networking or security. This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week with coverage across West to East time zones to support international operations. Key Requirements
3–5 years of experience in a similar technical sales or sales engineering role.
Strong technical knowledge in SDWAN, Cisco UC, or Cyber Security solutions.
Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, for client interaction.
Customer-first mindset with the ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships.
Ability to work independently, manage ambiguity, and adapt quickly in a solution-driven environment.
Solid technical documentation and writing skills for solution design and reporting.
Proficiency in Google Suite for internal collaboration and productivity.
Post-secondary degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a Technical Diploma.
Relevant industry certifications such as Cisco, Microsoft, or AWS are considered a strong plus.
Ability to work 40 hours per week with coverage across different global time zones.
Experience translating complex business requirements into technical and financial solutions.
Familiarity with connectivity solutions like Business Internet and GPON.
