ICT AND LOGISTICS OFFICER – 1 POST @ TEDI TANZANIA
TEDI Tanzania is looking for a versatile ICT and Logistics Officer to manage both technical infrastructure and the operational supply chain in Tabora. This dual-purpose role involves maintaining the organization's ICT equipment, including computers and tablets used for educational programs, while ensuring that all logistical needs for field operations are met efficiently and on time. The successful candidate will oversee the procurement, storage, and distribution of educational materials and technical hardware. You will be responsible for ensuring that all ICT systems are functional and that logistics processes support the smooth delivery of TEDI’s services. This position is critical to maintaining the operational backbone of our Tabora office and ensuring that our digital education interventions are never interrupted by technical or supply-chain failures. Tabora is the primary work location for this position.
Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in ICT, Computer Science, or Logistics Management.
Hands-on experience in hardware maintenance and software installation.
Proven experience in managing logistics and fleet coordination.
Proficiency in using inventory management software and MS Office tools.
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Experience in troubleshooting network issues in low-connectivity areas.
Ability to conduct procurement processes following organizational policies.
Excellent communication skills for coordinating with various vendors.
Knowledge of asset management and tracking protocols for electronics.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in the Tabora region.
