Tecno Tanzania is seeking a qualified Marketing and Public Relation Officer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive PR strategies to promote the company’s brand image and maintain positive relationships with media houses, influencers, and the public. You will play a crucial role in preparing press releases, organizing product launches, and managing the company's social media presence to ensure consistent brand messaging.
This role involves close coordination with the marketing team to support promotional activities and campaigns while managing communication during crisis situations. You will monitor media coverage, prepare performance reports, and create engaging content for company websites and social media pages. We are looking for a creative thinker with strong interpersonal skills who can ensure all communications align with brand guidelines and contribute to a positive corporate reputation in the market.

Key Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Mass Communication, Journalism, or related field.
Proven experience in PR, Marketing, or Corporate Communication is an added advantage.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Good writing and presentation skills.
Knowledge of social media management and digital communication.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and communication tools.
Ability to build and maintain relationships with media houses and influencers.
