GANG LEADER (2 POSITIONS) @ TAUR
TAUR is currently hiring two Gang Leaders to oversee site operations, specifically within underground environments. This role is pivotal for managing teams and ensuring that blasting operations are conducted with maximum efficiency and strict adherence to safety regulations.
You will be responsible for leading workers in challenging conditions, utilizing your technical training and blasting certification to coordinate site activities. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership qualities, the physical endurance for underground work, and a profound commitment to maintaining a safe and productive environment for all personnel under their supervision.

Key Requirements
Minimum of Tanzania secondary school education certificate
Must have a Blasting certificate
Ability to work in underground environment
Experience in blasting will be an advantage
Physical fitness with strong attention to safety
Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities
Knowledge of mine or site safety regulations
Ability to coordinate complex site activities
Effective problem-solving skills in high-pressure situations
Reliability in executing hazardous tasks according to protocol
