MAINTENANCE ADMINISTRATOR @ TAU MINING CONSULTANTS (PTY) LTD
TAU Mining Consultants (Pty) Ltd is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Maintenance Administrator to join our Engineering team at our Head Office in Woodmead, Johannesburg. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of our engineering department by managing maintenance documentation and coordinating work orders. The successful candidate will work closely with the technical team to maintain high standards of operational efficiency in a dynamic and fast-paced mining environment.
The Maintenance Administrator will be responsible for utilizing Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and Enterprise Asset Management Systems (EAMS) to track equipment performance and schedule preventative maintenance. You will manage work order lifecycles, maintain accurate records of spare parts, and provide essential administrative support to the engineering staff. This position requires a proactive individual who can navigate complex administrative tasks while adhering to the strict safety and quality protocols standard within the mining industry.

Key Requirements
Proven experience in maintenance administration or a similar technical administrative role.
Proficiency in CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) or EAMS (Enterprise Asset Management Systems).
Demonstrated experience in work order management and lifecycle tracking.
Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy in data entry.
Ability to work effectively in a structured and fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple engineering tasks.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel for reporting.
Strong communication skills for effective coordination with engineering teams.
Basic understanding of mining equipment, machinery, and technical terminology.
Ability to maintain comprehensive records of equipment maintenance and parts inventory.
