PROCUREMENT OFFICER @ TANZANIAN WILD CAMPS
Tanzanian Wild Camps is seeking a dedicated Procurement Officer to join our hospitality team. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing high-quality goods, negotiating contracts with suppliers, and managing inventory levels to ensure seamless operations across our camps. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining cost-efficiency while ensuring our guests receive the high standard of service expected in the tourism industry.
This role requires an individual with strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of the supply chain. You will work closely with department heads to forecast needs and manage vendor relationships. Key Requirements
Minimum of 3 years' experience in procurement, preferably in the hospitality or tourism industry.
Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
Good knowledge of inventory and stock control.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Computer literacy and experience with procurement systems.
High level of integrity and attention to detail.
Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
Strong problem-solving abilities.
Proven ability to manage multiple supplier relationships simultaneously.
Deep understanding of market trends and cost analysis.
