WAREHOUSE RECEIVING SUPERVISOR @ TANZANIA SANITARY PRODUCTS FACTORY (HPF)
Tanzania Sanitary Products Factory (HPF) is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Warehouse Receiving Supervisor to join the warehouse department at our Kibaha facility. This permanent position is critical for maintaining the efficiency and accuracy of our supply chain. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all receiving operations, ensuring that all incoming goods are correctly documented, inspected, and stored. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining the integrity of our inventory records and supporting the overall logistics strategy of the company.
As the Warehouse Receiving Supervisor, your daily tasks will involve processing complex shipping and receiving documents, supervising data entry activities, and ensuring that inventory systems are updated in real-time. You will also be expected to lead stock count initiatives and provide detailed reporting to management regarding stock levels and discrepancies. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced factory environment. Key Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
3–5 years of professional experience in warehouse operations or receiving roles.
Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel, and strong data entry skills.
Excellent communication skills and a high level of attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Proven track record in managing warehouse documentation and shipping/receiving records.
Deep understanding of inventory management principles and stock control procedures.
Experience in supervising data entry teams and ensuring accuracy in inventory updates.
Ability to lead and support regular physical stock counts and generate reporting.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations within a warehouse or factory environment.
