PROJECT OFFICER (2 POSITIONS) @ TANZANIA EDUCATION NETWORK/MTANDAO WA ELIMU TANZANIA (TEN/MET)
Tanzania Education Network/Mtandao wa Elimu Tanzania (TEN/MET) is seeking two dedicated Project Officers to join their team in Dar es Salaam. The successful candidates will be responsible for the implementation, coordination, monitoring, and reporting of various education projects. These projects specifically focus on strengthening teacher motivation and improving overall education outcomes across Tanzania, contributing to the organization's mission of ensuring quality education for all children.
The Project Officer will work closely with stakeholders to ensure that project milestones are met and that reporting is accurate and timely. This role requires a professional who can navigate the complexities of education project management while fostering positive relationships with teachers and local education authorities. The contract is for one year, with the possibility of renewal based on performance and project needs.

Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Project Management, Social Sciences, or a related field.
At least 3 years of experience in project implementation and coordination within the education sector.
Strong understanding of the Tanzanian education system and current educational challenges.
Proven experience in monitoring and evaluation (M&E) frameworks and reporting.
Excellent communication skills in both English and Swahili.
Ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, including government officials and local communities.
Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple project tasks.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Analytical skills to interpret project data and provide actionable insights.
Willingness to travel to project sites across the country as required.
