The Digital Education Supervisor will oversee up to 10 schools and support the successful implementation of the MsingiTek program through school monitoring, teacher support, community engagement, equipment management, and data reporting. This role is critical in ensuring that foundational literacy and numeracy skills are strengthened through personalized digital learning in rural primary schools. The supervisor acts as a bridge between the digital learning tools and the classroom environment, fostering an atmosphere conducive to technological integration. Possible work locations for this role include Tunduru DC, Songea DC, Mbinga DC, Morogoro DC, and Mvomero.

Key responsibilities include monitoring tablets, infrastructure, and program equipment, as well as conducting regular school visits and follow-ups. The supervisor will lead community sensitization and stakeholder engagement activities to promote school ownership and the long-term sustainability of the program. Additionally, the role involves supporting the onboarding and training of teachers and headteachers, ensuring accurate tablet data reporting, and inventory tracking. The supervisor will also collaborate with government officials to solve problems and enhance the program's impact on Tanzanian students.

Key Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Community Development, or related field. Minimum 1 year of experience in community engagement. Previous experience working with education or digital programs. Proven track record in rural program implementation. Experience in government collaboration and stakeholder management. Familiarity with data or MEAL (Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning) processes. Basic technical troubleshooting skills for tablets and IT infrastructure. Strong data analysis and reporting capabilities. Excellent communication and facilitation skills for community meetings. Ability to provide coaching and mentorship to school staff. Proactive problem-solving skills in low-resource environments.
