The Boiler Operator will be responsible for the safe and efficient monitoring of boiler systems at the TANICA facility in Bukoba. This role requires constant vigilance regarding pressure, temperature, and water levels to ensure the production process receives reliable energy.
Responsibilities include performing routine maintenance, reporting mechanical issues promptly, and ensuring proper fuel handling. The operator must maintain accurate logs and strictly adhere to all occupational health, safety, and environmental procedures relevant to boiler operations.

Key Requirements
Certificate of Secondary Education (Form IV)
VETA Level III or Grade I Certificate in Boiler Operations
Minimum 3 years of experience with boiler systems
Ability to monitor pressure, temperature, and water levels
Knowledge of fuel handling and efficiency practices
Experience in routine boiler maintenance
Understanding of occupational health and safety regulations
Competency in maintaining operation and safety logs
Ability to work in a high-pressure environment
Commitment to environmental safety procedures
