Tanganyika Instant Coffee PLC (TANICA), established in 1963, is seeking a skilled Engineering Technician to join its manufacturing team in Bukoba. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and installation of critical mechanical equipment, machinery, and utility systems to ensure smooth production operations.
The role involves diagnosing equipment faults, carrying out preventive maintenance, and ensuring compliance with Food Safety Management Systems (FSMS) and ISO 22000:2018 standards. You will also participate in engineering projects and maintain detailed service logs while adhering to strict health and safety protocols to foster an organized and efficient work environment.

Key Requirements
Ordinary Diploma (NTA Level 6) in Mechanical Engineering
Minimum 3 years of experience in an industrial environment
Proficiency in equipment fault diagnosis
Knowledge of ISO 22000:2018 standards
Ability to maintain accurate maintenance records
Strong understanding of mechanical systems
Experience with preventive maintenance protocols
Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints
Basic computer literacy for logging reports
Commitment to occupational health and safety standards
