CLEANING & HOUSEKEEPING OFFICER @ TALENT GRID AFRICA LIMITED
Talent Grid Africa is recruiting a Cleaning & Housekeeping Officer on behalf of a client in the medical industry in Tanzania. This role is critical in maintaining high sanitation standards and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sterile environment across patient wards, offices, and high-risk areas, while adhering to strict infection prevention and control (IPC) protocols.
In this role, you will be performing deep cleaning and emergency sanitation tasks as needed, handling medical and general waste in strict accordance with national health regulations, and ensuring full compliance with Ministry of Health hygiene standards. Your efforts will directly contribute to a safe environment for both patients and medical staff, requiring a high level of discipline and attention to detail in high-touch surface disinfection.

Key Requirements
Must possess a KCSE/O-Level certificate or equivalent qualification.
Minimum of 3-5 years' experience specifically in a hospital or healthcare facility environment is mandatory.
Strong understanding of infection prevention and control (IPC) and sanitation procedures.
Ability to handle medical and general waste in line with strict regulatory standards.
Must be physically fit and able to perform manual labor for extended periods.
Extreme attention to detail with a focus on high-touch surface disinfection.
High level of discipline and professional conduct within a clinical setting.
Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills to collaborate with medical staff.
Knowledge of chemical safety and the correct use of medical-grade cleaning agents.
Ability to support deep cleaning projects and handle emergency sanitation requests efficiently.
