EXCAVATOR OPERATOR @ TALENT GRID AFRICA
Talent Grid Africa is seeking a skilled Excavator Operator for active infrastructure projects in Dar es Salaam. This position involves complex digging, trenching, and site excavation tasks, requiring high levels of precision and an excellent understanding of safety measures in heavy construction.
You will be responsible for operating the excavator to move earth, load trucks, and dig foundations according to precise engineering designs. Maintaining the machine and site safety are critical aspects of the role, ensuring all excavations are performed without risk to staff or underground infrastructure.

Key Requirements
3–5 years of proven excavator operating experience
Valid Class G licence or recognized operator certification
Advanced capability in digging, trenching, and grading
Ability to interpret blueprints and excavation drawings
Strong awareness of utility locations and safety
Diligent adherence to pre-operational machine checks
Capability to work accurately in confined spaces
Strong teamwork skills for site coordination
Problem-solving skills for operational challenges
Commitment to maintaining site cleanliness and safety
