CLEARING & FORWARDING OFFICER @ TALANTAHSOLUTION
talantahsolution is currently seeking a dedicated Clearing & Forwarding Officer to join our team, operating across Dar es Salaam and Tanga. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the end-to-end import and export processes, ensuring that all cargo movements comply with local and international regulations. This role requires a proactive professional who can navigate the complexities of customs procedures while maintaining strong relationships with regulatory authorities such as TRA, TPA, and various shipping lines.
In addition to technical documentation, the Clearing & Forwarding Officer will play a critical role in tracking shipments to ensure timely delivery and clearance. You will act as a key liaison, problem-solving any logistics bottlenecks and ensuring the company remains in full compliance with customs protocols. The ideal candidate must be highly organized, capable of handling multiple documentation streams simultaneously, and committed to operational excellence in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Key Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Clearing & Forwarding, Logistics, Procurement, or a related field.
At least 2 years of experience in clearing and forwarding.
Good knowledge of Tanzania customs procedures and import/export documentation.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail for processing complex legal documents.
Ability to manage relationships with TRA and TPA authorities.
Experience in tracking and managing multiple shipments.
Fluency in English and Swahili to ensure effective coordination.
