WEIGHBRIDGE OPERATOR (2 POSTS) @ TALANTAH
Talantah is looking for two dedicated Weighbridge Operators to join the operations team in Kibaha. The successful candidates will be primarily responsible for the accurate weighing of vehicles entering and leaving the facility, ensuring all data is recorded meticulously into the company database. This role is critical for maintaining accurate inventory and logistics records, requiring a high level of integrity and attention to detail to prevent discrepancies.
In addition to weighing duties, the operators will be responsible for preparing comprehensive daily and weekly reports for management review. You will collaborate closely with the logistics and security teams to ensure a smooth flow of traffic and compliance with all transport regulations. The role requires the ability to work in shifts and maintain professional communication with drivers and various stakeholders while operating within the Kibaha facility.

Key Requirements
Minimum of a secondary education certificate or equivalent.
Proven experience in data entry or as a weighbridge operator is preferred.
Proficiency in basic computer applications such as MS Excel and Word.
High level of integrity and honesty when handling sensitive weight data.
Strong mathematical skills for accurate weight calculations.
Excellent attention to detail to identify and report discrepancies.
Ability to work effectively in a shift-based environment, including nights and weekends.
Strong communication skills for interacting with truck drivers and logistics staff.
Understanding of local transport and weight regulations in Tanzania.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced industrial environment.
