OPERATION OFFICER (4 POSITIONS) @ TALANTAH SOLUTION
Talantah Solution is seeking four motivated and responsible individuals to join our Clearing Department as Operation Officers in Dar es Salaam. This role involves critical tasks such as handling the verification of goods for both containerized and loose cargo, managing the release of cargo from various government agencies, and communicating effectively with transporters to arrange truck deliveries to clients. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire delivery process and ensuring that all company regulations and customs procedures are strictly followed.
In addition to technical duties, the Operation Officer will represent the company and its clients to government organizations including the Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA), GCLA, and TMDA. The ideal candidates should be proactive, able to work with minimal supervision, and possess a solid understanding of the logistics industry. Key Requirements
Diploma or Degree from a recognized institution.
Self-motivated and a strong team player.
Fluent in English and Swahili with good communication skills.
Ability to work under minimal supervision.
Knowledge of the logistics and customs industry.
Responsible and hardworking attitude.
Preferably male candidates as per the job post specification.
Capability to represent the company to government agencies like TRA, GCLA, and TMDA.
Experience or knowledge in handling containerized and loose cargo.
Strong organizational skills to manage equipment interchange from transporters.
