INVENTORY OFFICER @ TALANTAH SOLUTION
Talantah Solution is looking for a qualified Inventory Officer to manage store operations and stock levels at our Dar es Salaam location. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure accurate tracking of all incoming and outgoing goods while maintaining an organized and efficient storage system. The Inventory Officer will be expected to conduct regular audits and report on stock status to the management team. This position requires a proactive approach to inventory control and the ability to work collaboratively with procurement and logistics departments to minimize stockouts and overstock situations. The candidate will utilize computer systems to maintain digital records and streamline the reporting process to ensure operational excellence. Professionalism and a high degree of accuracy are essential for success in this role as the company continues to grow.
Key Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Procurement, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
Prior experience in inventory or store management is considered an added advantage.
Strong proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Excel and inventory management software.
Ability to maintain high levels of accuracy in data entry and stock record-keeping.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
Strong communication skills for effective coordination with internal teams and suppliers.
Ability to perform physical inventory counts and manage store layouts efficiently.
Basic understanding of supply chain management principles and best practices.
High level of integrity and attention to detail in tracking assets.
Problem-solving skills to address and reconcile inventory discrepancies quickly.
