LOADING TEAM LEADER (2 POSTS) @ TALANTAH
The Loading Team Leader position at Talantah involves overseeing all loading activities to ensure that goods are moved safely and efficiently. As a leader of two available positions in Kibaha, you will be tasked with supervising a team of loaders, delegating tasks, and ensuring that all shipments are prepared according to schedule. Your leadership will be vital in maintaining high productivity levels while strictly adhering to safety protocols to prevent workplace accidents.
Beyond supervision, the Team Leader is responsible for coordinating with the warehouse and transport departments to streamline operations. You will monitor the performance of your team, provide necessary training, and troubleshoot any operational bottlenecks that occur during the loading process. This role requires a hands-on approach and the ability to maintain order in a high-energy environment, ensuring that Talantah's logistics goals are met consistently.

Key Requirements
Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role within a warehouse or logistics setting.
Strong understanding of loading and offloading procedures and safety standards.
Excellent organizational and time management skills to meet tight deadlines.
Ability to lead, motivate, and manage a diverse team effectively.
Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual tasks alongside the team when necessary.
Effective communication skills in both Swahili and English.
Problem-solving skills to address equipment failures or scheduling conflicts.
Basic knowledge of inventory management systems.
Commitment to workplace safety and the implementation of OSHA guidelines.
Ability to work flexible hours based on the demands of the loading schedule.
