FINANCE OFFICER (2 POSTS) @ TALANTAH
The Finance Officer at Talantah will be responsible for the comprehensive management of financial records and reporting systems. This includes preparing monthly and annual financial reports, managing organizational budgets, and meticulously monitoring expenditures to ensure fiscal health. The role is critical in providing financial analysis that supports strategic decision-making across the company while ensuring all financial activities align with organizational goals. In addition to daily financial management, the successful candidates will oversee payments and disbursements, lead the coordination of internal and external audits, and ensure full compliance with both national and international accounting standards. Working in Dar es Salaam, the officers will collaborate closely with various departments to maintain transparency and accuracy in all financial dealings, contributing to the overall efficiency and integrity of the company's financial operations.
Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Professional accounting qualification such as CPA (T) or ACCA is highly desirable.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a finance or accounting role.
Proficiency in using modern accounting software and ERP systems.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
Excellent understanding of Tanzanian tax laws and regulatory requirements.
Proven track record in managing organizational budgets and monitoring expenditures.
Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in record-keeping.
Ability to prepare comprehensive financial reports and present them to management.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating with auditors and team members.
