MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN @ TALAASHLO
A leading Cosmetics & Personal Care Manufacturing company in East Africa is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to oversee the operational efficiency of their production facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end maintenance of cream and lotion manufacturing lines, filling machinery, and supporting utility infrastructure. This is a critical role that ensures high-quality production standards through diligent equipment upkeep and rapid fault resolution. The position is based in Tanzania, offering a stable environment and a comprehensive benefits package designed for expatriate professionals, including housing, transportation, and airfare support. The salary offered is 1,250,000 INR per annum tax-free, paid in USD. You will be responsible for managing complex mechanical and electrical systems, ensuring that downtime is kept to an absolute minimum to meet production targets. This role requires an individual who is highly capable in troubleshooting and reporting, capable of maintaining high-performance standards in a fast-paced FMCG manufacturing environment.
Key Requirements
Minimum 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
Proven expertise in troubleshooting and repairing cream and lotion filling machinery.
Proficiency in performing preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance.
Strong knowledge of utility management including boilers, chillers, and air compressors.
Ability to maintain and service RO water plants and related infrastructure.
Advanced skills in diagnosing electrical, mechanical, and electronic faults.
Competency in monitoring equipment performance and generating detailed breakdown reports.
Proficiency in reading technical blueprints and maintenance manuals.
Strong understanding of industrial safety standards and protocols.
Excellent communication skills for cross-departmental coordination.
