MEP DRAFTSMAN / QUANTITY SURVEYOR @ TAKE ONE BYTE
The client is currently seeking a dedicated MEP Draftsman with specific expertise in Quantity Surveying for a project role based in Dubai. The primary responsibility includes the preparation of MEP shop drawings for HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Fighting systems. The candidate will work closely with design teams and site engineers to ensure that all drawings are clash-free and comply with project specifications through rigorous coordination.
The role also encompasses the management of submissions through Dubai Municipality (DM) and Dubai Civil Defence (DCD) portals. This includes handling approvals, revisions, and resubmissions as well as preparing accurate as-built drawings after project completion. The successful candidate will also perform quantity take-offs, prepare detailed Bill of Quantities (BOQs), and support cost estimation and material planning throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Requirements
Proficiency in AutoCAD and MEP coordination techniques.
Experience with Dubai Municipality (DM) and Dubai Civil Defence (DCD) submission processes.
Strong background in MEP drafting and Quantity Surveying expertise.
Ability to prepare MEP shop drawings for HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Fighting systems.
Comprehensive knowledge of site execution and BOQ preparation.
Proven skills in performing quantity take-offs for all MEP systems.
Experience in developing 2D shop drawings and 3D models where required.
Ability to coordinate with design teams and site engineers to ensure clash-free drawings.
Proficiency in managing project submissions, including approvals and revisions.
Excellent communication skills for coordinating with consultants and clients.
Attention to detail in managing timely resubmissions and as-built drawings.
