A Sustainability Consultant is needed to guide international businesses and organizations through their sustainability journeys. This role involves developing ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) strategies, conducting sustainability audits, and assisting with comprehensive sustainability reporting. You will work with clients in Germany and other international markets to integrate sustainable practices into their core operations, ensuring long-term environmental and social value. Your expertise will help organizations reduce their environmental impact while enhancing their corporate responsibility profiles.Beyond strategy development, you will provide training and support to client teams on sustainability best practices. This includes advising on supply chain transparency, resource efficiency, and the adoption of nature-based solutions within corporate frameworks. You will stay abreast of emerging sustainability trends and regulatory requirements to provide the most current and effective advice. This position requires a professional with a blend of business acumen and environmental knowledge, capable of influencing decision-makers at the highest levels of global organizations.
Key Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Sustainability, or Environmental Management.
Significant experience in corporate sustainability or ESG consulting.
Deep knowledge of sustainability reporting frameworks like GRI, SASB, or TCFD.
Proven ability to develop and implement sustainability strategies.
Strong analytical skills for auditing and supply chain analysis.
Excellent presentation and client relationship management skills.
Experience in life cycle assessment and environmental footprinting.
Ability to work effectively with diverse international client teams.
Knowledge of circular economy principles and green infrastructure.
Strong project management skills with a focus on sustainable outcomes.
