ECOSYSTEM RESTORATION SPECIALIST @ TAJUDEEN IBRAHIM ISHOLA
The Ecosystem Restoration Specialist role is a critical position focused on rehabilitating degraded landscapes and protecting biodiversity. You will lead projects aimed at restoring forests, wetlands, and other vital ecosystems across the Netherlands and international sites. This involves site assessments, project planning, and the implementation of restoration techniques tailored to specific ecological conditions. Key Requirements
Degree in Ecology, Forestry, Environmental Science, or a related field.
Practical experience in habitat restoration and reforestation projects.
Strong knowledge of invasive species management and native plant restoration.
Proficiency in using GIS and remote sensing for site planning and monitoring.
Experience in conducting ecological field surveys and data collection.
Proven ability to write successful grants and project proposals.
Excellent project management skills and experience leading field teams.
Strong understanding of biodiversity tracking and ecosystem service valuation.
Ability to engage with local communities and international stakeholders.
