OUTSYSTEMS ARCHITECT @ SYNAPSE TECH SERVICES
We are seeking a highly skilled OutSystems Architect for a long-term remote position with one of our premier banking clients. In this role, you will be responsible for designing scalable, secure, and high-performance low-code applications while defining critical technical, integration, and data strategies. You will oversee the full software development lifecycle, ensuring that all development adheres to industry best practices and meets the rigorous standards required for enterprise-grade financial applications. Your leadership will be vital in mentoring development teams and fostering a culture of technical excellence.
The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in the OutSystems ecosystem, including Service Studio and Integration Studio, as well as environment management through LifeTime and Service Center. You will be tasked with identifying performance bottlenecks, optimizing complex database queries, and ensuring applications meet strict scalability and security requirements. Additionally, you will define and implement robust integration strategies with external systems like SAP, Oracle, and SQL using SOAP and REST connectors. This role requires a proactive approach to code quality, involving regular code reviews and guidance on best practices for both web and mobile platform development.

Key Requirements
Proficient in OutSystems Service Studio and Integration Studio.
Strong understanding of SQL and database performance tuning.
Expertise in .NET C# development.
Professional proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Proven experience in leading the design of enterprise-grade, modular applications.
Experience configuring and maintaining OutSystems environments using LifeTime and Service Center.
Capability to define and implement integration strategies using SOAP and REST.
Experience integrating with external systems such as SAP, Oracle, and SQL.
Ability to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in low-code applications.
Strong background in performing code reviews and enforcing quality standards.
Exceptional communication skills for mentoring and guiding development teams.
Familiarity with the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) in a banking environment.
