The successful candidates will be responsible for assisting in carrying out maintenance, inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of automotive equipment and ground support vehicles under the guidance of senior technicians and supervisors. You will support the Fleet Department in performing preventive and corrective maintenance activities on engines, hydraulic systems, braking systems, transmission systems, and vehicle electrical systems. The role requires the operation of workshop tools, diagnostic equipment, and lifting devices safely and in accordance with approved procedures. Furthermore, you will ensure compliance with Swissport Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), QHSE requirements, and safety regulations at all times while working in a 24/7 operational environment at Kilimanjaro.

Key Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma in Automotive Engineering from a recognized institution. Minimum GPA of 3.5 in academic qualifications. Minimum of 1–2 years of field attachment, internship, or practical work experience in automotive engineering. Strong technical knowledge in equipment maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting. Ability to operate workshop tools, diagnostic equipment, and lifting devices safely. Proficiency in reading and applying technical manuals and workshop documentation. Commitment to Swissport Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and QHSE requirements. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration. High level of integrity and professionalism in all work activities. Willingness to work flexibly in a 24/7 operational environment under pressure.
