RAMP AGENTS (20 POSITIONS) @ SWISSPORT
Swissport Tanzania Plc is looking for 20 Ramp Agents to join their ground handling team in Dar es Salaam. These agents are responsible for the safe and efficient execution of aircraft ground handling operations, including marshalling aircraft and managing the flow of baggage and cargo. The role is physically demanding and requires agents to work outdoors in various weather conditions while adhering to strict safety protocols.
In addition to manual labor, Ramp Agents operate specialized ground support equipment such as tugs, loaders, and power units. Safety is the highest priority, and all agents must strictly follow Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) procedures. Candidates must possess a valid driver's license and the physical ability to lift heavy weights while maintaining clear communication with the team.

Key Requirements
Qualification ranging from Form VI Certificate to a Diploma level.
Possession of a valid and clean driver's license.
Physical ability to lift and move baggage weighing up to 32kg.
Strong safety awareness and strict adherence to QHSE procedures.
Effective communication skills in both English and Swahili.
Ability to work flexible shifts and perform duties in adverse weather conditions.
Skill in marshalling aircraft safely and efficiently on the ramp.
Competency in loading and unloading baggage and cargo from aircraft.
Ability to operate various ground support equipment such as tugs and loaders.
Experience in servicing aircraft systems including water and lavatory services.
