LOAD CONTROLLERS (5 POSITIONS) @ SWISSPORT
Swissport is seeking 5 dedicated Load Controllers to join the operations team in Dar es Salaam on a fixed-term contract. The role is critical to maintaining operational safety and on-time performance by ensuring accurate aircraft weight and balance calculations. The Load Controller acts as a vital link between several airport departments, ensuring that all cargo and passengers are distributed correctly across the aircraft according to safety standards.
Successful candidates will be responsible for preparing comprehensive load control documentation, optimizing fuel uplift, and reporting any safety or operational irregularities. This position requires strong numerical skills and the ability to work under pressure during shift rotations. Prior experience in the airline industry and a background in flight dispatch are essential for success in this high-responsibility role.

Key Requirements
Certificate or Diploma in Flight Dispatch from a recognized institution.
Minimum of 2 years of experience within the airline industry.
Possession of a Load Control Certification is a distinct advantage.
Strong numerical and analytical skills for complex calculations.
Ability to work flexible shifts in a 24/7 operational environment.
Competency in preparing accurate aircraft load control documentation.
Expertise in maintaining aircraft weight and balance compliance.
Skills in optimizing fuel uplift and managing aircraft trim requirements.
Ability to coordinate effectively with Ramp, Cargo, and Operations Control units.
High attention to detail for reporting safety or operational irregularities.
