HEAD ACCOUNTANT @ SUSHMITA ANAND
We are looking for a highly competent and experienced finance professional to join a growing organization as a Head Accountant in Kampala, Uganda. This full-time role involves overseeing comprehensive financial accounting and reporting, ensuring taxation and statutory compliance, and managing payroll operations. The successful candidate will also be responsible for audit coordination, budgeting, and maintaining cash flow management and internal controls within a multi-company environment. The position offers a monthly salary of USD 2,500, along with provided accommodation and transportation. Candidates should possess 2 to 4 years of relevant accounting and finance experience, preferably within the construction, infrastructure, or manufacturing sectors. Professional proficiency in Tally Prime and Advanced Excel is essential, and an ACCA, CPA, or CA qualification is an added advantage. The role requires a dedicated professional willing to relocate to Uganda and work in a fast-paced operational environment, providing supervision and leadership to the finance team.
Key Requirements
Minimum 2–4 years of relevant professional accounting and finance experience.
Previous experience in construction, infrastructure, or manufacturing industries.
Proven expertise in managing multi-company financial environments.
Strong knowledge of taxation and statutory compliance regulations.
Advanced proficiency in Tally Prime accounting software.
High level of expertise in using Advanced Excel for financial tasks.
Professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, or CA (preferred).
Experience in payroll management and account reconciliations.
Demonstrated ability in budgeting and cash flow management.
Willingness to relocate to Kampala, Uganda and work in a fast-paced environment.
