PURCHASING SPECIALIST (1 POSITION) @ SUNDA
The Purchasing Specialist will be responsible for managing all procurement activities for factory operations at the Tanzania Sanitary Products Factory in Misugusugu. This role involves ensuring timely sourcing of materials, maintaining cost efficiency, and verifying supplier reliability while strictly adhering to company procurement procedures. The specialist will work closely with the production, warehouse, and finance departments to enhance efficiency and alignment across the supply chain.
Key duties include conducting supplier inquiries, comparing prices, preparing purchase orders, and tracking delivery schedules to ensure no disruptions in the production process. The successful candidate will be expected to develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, optimize the supplier base for quality and stability, and manage all related documentation and contracts. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in procurement or purchasing.
Experience in manufacturing or FMCG industry is an added advantage.
Strong negotiation, analytical, and supplier management skills.
Good organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and under pressure.
Willingness to work at the factory location (MISUGUSUGU).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel for data tracking and analysis.
Deep understanding of local procurement laws and international shipping standards.
Proven ability to handle complex reconciliation and contract management tasks.
