SITE ENGINEER / ESTIMATION COORDINATOR @ SUMAANA MARJAN TECHNICAL SERVICES
Sumaana Marjan Technical Services is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Engineer / Estimation Coordinator to join our dynamic team in Dubai. This role is central to our technical operations, requiring a professional who can bridge the gap between initial site assessment and final project delivery. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough site visits, ensuring accurate measurements are captured, and preparing detailed Bill of Quantities (BOQ), cost estimates, and quotations that align with client requirements and industry standards.
In addition to estimation tasks, the role involves significant technical and coordination duties. You will be expected to utilize AutoCAD for drawing preparation and review, manage subcontractor networks, and oversee labor arrangements to ensure project milestones are met. Effective communication with clients and vendors is essential for maintaining our high standards of service. Candidates should possess strong technical knowledge in fit-out and maintenance works, specifically regarding carpentry, gypsum, and HVAC systems. Key Requirements
UAE experience in fit-out / maintenance works is essential.
Deep knowledge of carpentry and gypsum installation techniques.
Technical understanding of HVAC systems and ducting works.
Mandatory proficiency in AutoCAD for technical drawings.
Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and estimation software.
Ability to conduct accurate site visits and physical measurements.
Proven experience in BOQ, costing, and quotation preparation.
Strong network of subcontractors and vendors in the UAE.
Excellent coordination skills for labor and project management.
Excellent communication skills for client and stakeholder interaction.
A valid UAE driving license is a preferred advantage.
