Suhara Logistics Tanzania Limited is looking for an experienced Transit Lead to manage and optimize our transit operations in Dar es Salaam. This position involves overseeing freight forwarding activities, ensuring compliance with transit regulations, and coordinating with stakeholders to maintain high service levels.
As a Transit Lead, you will be expected to demonstrate strong leadership capabilities while solving operational challenges in real-time. You will work closely with logistics teams to improve efficiency, streamline documentation processes, and drive innovation within our supply chain operations to meet the evolving needs of our customers.

Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field.
4+ years of experience in transit operations, transportation or freight forwarding.
Strong knowledge of transit procedures, regulations and documentation.
Proven ability to manage transit operations efficiently and meet service levels.
Strong leadership, problem-solving and communication skills.
Proficient in TMS, ERP or related logistics systems.
Experience in managing cross-functional teams.
Strategic planning and organizational abilities.
Ability to operate under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical skills regarding transportation cost reduction.
