GENERAL MANAGER @ STARRICH
The General Manager will be responsible for providing high-level strategic leadership, operational management, and comprehensive administrative control for a prominent mall and its associated business ventures in Dar es Salaam. This role requires a visionary leader who can oversee daily operations while developing long-term strategies to ensure the mall's growth, profitability, and excellence in customer service. The successful candidate will manage all departmental functions, ensuring that business objectives are met through efficient resource allocation and process optimization. In addition to operational oversight, the General Manager will lead a diverse team of professionals, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance. Key duties involve financial management, stakeholder engagement, and the implementation of robust administrative policies to safeguard the organization's assets and reputation. Key Requirements
A degree in Business Administration or a related field.
Relevant professional certifications in management or leadership.
8-10 years of progressive experience in senior management roles.
Proven track record in strategic leadership and planning.
Strong expertise in operational management of large-scale facilities or malls.
Excellent skills in administrative control and budgeting.
Ability to manage and lead diverse teams effectively.
Proficiency in business reporting and performance monitoring.
Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Experience in retail or commercial real estate development.
Ability to develop and implement standard operating procedures.
Fluency in English and Swahili is preferred.
Exceptional conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.
