STARRICH CONSULTING INTERNATIONAL is hiring a Facilities & Operations Manager to oversee technical operations and infrastructure for a modern mixed-use shopping mall. You will be responsible for managing complex building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety, ensuring maximum operational efficiency and safety compliance across the 15,000-20,000 sqm facility.

In this role, you will lead preventive maintenance programs, manage diverse service providers, and oversee budgeting for utilities and operational costs. Your leadership will be crucial in coordinating tenant fit-outs and maintaining high standards for cleaning, security, and landscaping to provide an exceptional environment for all stakeholders in Dar es Salaam.

Key Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Building Services, Construction, or Facilities Management. Minimum 8-10 years' experience in facilities or property operations. At least 5 years in a supervisory or managerial role. Experience managing shopping malls, mixed-use developments, or large commercial properties. Strong technical understanding of building systems including HVAC and fire systems. Strong contractor and vendor management capability for service providers. Budgeting, compliance oversight, and risk management skills. Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and operational coordination capability. Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability for technical infrastructure. Knowledge of environmental and operational standards for commercial properties.
