Stan Tours Limited is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team in Dar es Salaam. This role is central to our financial operations, requiring the preparation of comprehensive financial statements, management reports, and the oversight of budgeting and forecasting processes. You will manage cash flows, receivables, and payables while ensuring that all invoicing and collections are handled efficiently to support the company's financial health. The successful candidate will implement robust cost-control measures, maintain meticulous accounting records, and coordinate audits to ensure full regulatory compliance. Beyond technical accounting, you will provide valuable financial insights to management to support strategic decision-making. This position offers a dynamic environment for a finance professional looking to contribute to the growth of a leading logistics and transport-affiliated tourism company.
Key Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field.
CPA (T) or equivalent is an advantage.
Minimum 3 years' accounting experience, preferably in logistics or transport.
Strong knowledge of reporting, budgeting, controls, and cash flow management.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Experience with Tanzanian tax laws and regulatory compliance (TRA, NSSF, etc.).
High level of integrity and professional ethics.
Ability to meet strict deadlines for monthly and annual financial closures.
Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.
