PEOPLESOFT BUSINESS ANALYST (FINANCIAL ERP) @ STAFFBEES
A highly experienced PeopleSoft Business Analyst specializing in Financials ERP (v 9.2) is sought for a long-term 30-month contract on a critical government project. The role is based in Albany, NY 12226, operating under a hybrid model (relocation is acceptable), and requires flexibility to work across CST & EST time zones. This position demands strong functional analysis skills and proven expertise in supporting enterprise financial modules.
The core responsibilities include performing detailed functional analysis, defining robust business processes, and rigorously gathering and managing business requirements. The successful candidate will be instrumental in writing and executing thorough test scripts, providing essential support for User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and ensuring the PeopleSoft system aligns perfectly with the financial and operational needs of the organization. You will work closely with both business users and technical development teams to achieve successful outcomes.
A minimum of 7 years in Business Analysis, with at least 5 years specifically handling PeopleSoft 9.2 Financials ERP, is mandatory. Specific experience is required in supporting modules such as Project Costing, Customer Contracts, Funds Distribution, and Federal Grant Awards for a minimum of two years. Key Requirements
Conduct functional analysis and define comprehensive business processes.
Gather, document, and manage detailed business requirements for ERP implementation.
Write and execute test scripts and provide dedicated support for User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Provide analysis and ongoing support for PeopleSoft 9.2 Financials ERP.
Collaborate closely with business users and technical teams across project lifecycle stages.
Ensure financial modules are accurately aligned with overall business needs and regulatory requirements.
Must possess 7+ years of experience in Business Analysis (Functional Design, Requirements, Testing).
Must have 5+ years specializing in PeopleSoft 9.2 Financials ERP.
Required experience (2+ years) supporting Project Costing, Customer Contracts, Funds Distribution, and Federal Grant Awards.
Required experience (1+ year) supporting 3 or more of the following core financial modules: Purchasing, Accounts Payable, Billing, Accounts Receivable, Travel & Expense, General Ledger, Commitment Control, or eBill Payment.
