St. Joseph Regional Hospital invites applications for the position of Security Guard. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the safety and security of patients, staff, and hospital property at our facility in Moshi. Guards will monitor entry points, conduct regular patrols, and assist in managing the flow of visitors to maintain a peaceful environment conducive to healing. The hospital has been rendering healthcare services for twenty-five years.
This position requires individuals who are vigilant, disciplined, and capable of upholding the hospital's ethical guidelines and policies. As the first point of contact for many visitors, the security staff must demonstrate excellent communication skills. Key Requirements
Relevant academic qualifications for security personnel
Professional training in security or law enforcement
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
High level of integrity and professionalism
Physical fitness and the ability to stand for long shifts
Keen observation skills to monitor hospital premises
Ability to respond calmly and effectively to emergencies
Knowledge of basic safety and fire protocols
Prior experience in security roles is an added advantage
