TUTORIAL ASSISTANT – PHARMACY (2 POSTS) @ ST JOHN’S UNIVERSITY OF TANZANIA (SJUT)
St John’s University of Tanzania (SJUT), owned by the Anglican Church of Tanzania (ACT), is seeking a qualified Tutorial Assistant for the School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences (SoPH) at the Chief Mazengo Campus in Dodoma. This role is fundamental in supporting academic activities, laboratory sessions, and research initiatives within the department. The successful candidate will assist senior faculty members in delivering high-quality education to pharmacy students, ensuring that the curriculum standards are met and students are well-prepared for their professional examinations.
In addition to academic support, the Tutorial Assistant will be expected to engage in research and community service activities as directed by the School administration. Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy.
Minimum GPA of 3.5/5.0.
Registration with the Pharmacy Council is an added advantage.
Experience working in tertiary education institutions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to assist in practical laboratory sessions.
Strong organizational and administrative capabilities.
Proficiency in clinical pharmacy practices.
Commitment to ethical research and academic integrity.
Capacity to mentor undergraduate students.
