NURSE II (1 POST) @ ST JOHN’S UNIVERSITY OF TANZANIA (SJUT)
St John’s University of Tanzania (SJUT) is looking to recruit a dedicated Nurse II to work within the University Dispensary located at the Chief Mazengo Campus in Dodoma. The Nurse II will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the well-being of the university community, including students and staff. This role reports directly to the Doctor-in-Charge and involves performing essential nursing duties to maintain the standard of health services at the facility.
Candidates must be registered nursing professionals with a proven track record of clinical excellence in a health center or dispensary setting. Key responsibilities include maternal and child health services, health education, and the diligent maintenance of medical records. The successful candidate will play a critical role in preventive healthcare, administering treatments, and monitoring patient progress, contributing to a healthy and safe university environment.

Key Requirements
Form IV Certificate.
Ordinary Diploma in Nursing/Midwifery or Public Health Nurse Certificate.
Must be registered with the relevant Nursing Council.
Minimum 3 years’ experience working in a health centre or dispensary.
Ability to perform general nursing care.
Competency in providing maternal and child care services.
Skill in administering prescribed drugs and treatments.
Capability to provide health education regarding family planning and nutrition.
Proficiency in maintaining accurate medical records and reports.
Ability to work under the supervision of a Doctor-in-Charge.
