St John’s University of Tanzania (SJUT) invites applications for two Assistant Lecturer positions in Health Services Management within the Faculty of Commerce and Business Studies, based at the Chief Mazengo Campus, Dodoma. The successful candidates will contribute to teaching programs, develop health-focused curriculum, and participate in departmental research that addresses public health challenges and health systems optimization. Working within the Faculty of Commerce, lecturers are expected to integrate business principles with health policy knowledge. Key Requirements
Master’s degree in Health Services Management, Public Health, Epidemiology, or Biostatistics
Bachelor’s degree in Health Services Management or Business-related subjects
Minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.5/5.0
Minimum Master’s GPA of 4.0/5.0
Strong understanding of health systems management
Experience in academic or professional health administration
Ability to deliver lectures effectively to diverse student groups
Capacity to participate in high-impact public health research
Proficiency in data analysis and statistical software
Strong interpersonal skills for student and staff collaboration
