POWER SUPPLY SUPERVISION EXPERT @ SSF
SSF is looking for a highly skilled Power Supply Supervision Expert to oversee critical electrification systems for a major railway project in Tanzania. This role is pivotal for ensuring the safety, reliability, and efficiency of the railway power infrastructure through rigorous supervision during the construction, testing, and commissioning phases.
The successful candidate will act as a technical lead, ensuring all works comply with international railway standards and project specifications. You will manage traction substations, distribution networks, and SCADA systems while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality infrastructure. Key Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
Minimum 10 years of professional experience in railway power supply and electrification systems
Proven experience as a Power Supply Expert on at least three electrified railway projects
Strong experience in supervising the installation, testing, and commissioning of railway power supply systems
Technical proficiency in traction substations, HV/MV/LV distribution, and SCADA systems
Previous experience in construction supervision of railway infrastructure projects
Excellent command of English
Strong project management and coordination skills
Ability to analyze technical drawings and specifications
Expertise in local and international railway safety regulations
